 One-Pot Cheesy Baked Spaghetti

This recipe is a one-pot wonder that is perfect for a quick and easy weeknight meal. It is also a great way to use up leftover spaghetti.





Yields: 4 servings Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 jar (28 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).  Cook spaghetti according to package directions.  
  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Drain spaghetti and add to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  5. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Tips:

  • You can add other vegetables to this dish, such as mushrooms, peppers, or spinach.
  • If you want a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and frozen.
