Crispy Chicken Tenders: A Quick and Easy Recipe

Chicken tenders are a popular dish that is easy to make and can be served with a variety of sides. This recipe for crispy chicken tenders is made with boneless, skinless chicken breasts that are cut into strips and coated in a breadcrumb mixture before being fried in oil until golden brown.





Ingredients:


1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 cup vegetable oil


Instructions:


In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.

In another shallow dish, combine the milk, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Dip the chicken strips into the flour mixture, then into the breadcrumb mixture.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook the chicken strips for 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve the chicken strips with your favorite dipping sauce.


Tips:


For a healthier option, bake the chicken strips in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

You can use any type of breadcrumb mixture you like, such as panko breadcrumbs or Italian breadcrumbs.
